Fight through beat-'em-up mode together.

Namco Bandai is releasing a Tekken 6 patch on 18th January to enable online co-op during the Scenario Campaign.

That's the bizarre beat-'em-mode that's a bit like Streets of Rage in 3D.

Now Tekken 6 will join the likes of Double Dragon, Golden Axe, Final Fight, Two Crude Dudes and so on and so forth as bruised adventures you can enjoy with a chum.

What about local co-op? I want to play this with my wife. Not that the campaign mode's any good, but I just want to get through it, and it would be nice to share the pain with someone.

But... the scenario mode is utter rubbish (in an otherwise surprisingly excelent game). Still, they ARE gving this patch away for free and playing in couples might be more fun...

Skeggsy, Steroyd: come on. Is the best fg of 2009 and sold in 2 months as many units as the uberhyped SF IV, and aside from the crapy campaign mode -which anyway is irrelevant to true fg games- the game is easily the best in the saga.

How about a patch that makes it possible to defeat Azazel? On easy FFS!

Could be I just suck at the game, but I just couldn't beat him. Cheasiest boss ever imo.

The campaign mode is hard to control but its good for a wee shot now and again. This'll let my 4 year old nephew play though it with me (he loves Tekken). Have to wonder if I'm corrupting him a bit exposing him to some of the moves in Tekken though...
I still think Tekken 6 is underrated, the main game is brilliant.

excellent...they patched something that they promoted as being in the game before it's release..and we only had to wait 2 months. Developers are so good to use these days

Is this out then... has anyone tried it, and is it any good? (I've already got the game so I know the campaign mode sucks, but am hoping that co-op adds just enough to make it worthwhile.... like it did to Army of Two )
