Team ICO pack for LBP this week News

PlayStation 3 News by Robert Purchese

8 June, 2009

Media Molecule will offer a Team ICO pack for LittleBigPlanet this Thursday, paying homage to brilliant PS2 games ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

A horned ICO costume and simple Yorda dress are the only contents revealed on the Mm website, but we're promised a look at the SOTC-inspired costumes tomorrow.

The Team ICO pack arrives after Sony unveiled The Last Guardian - Fumito Ueda and Team ICO's next game - at E3. It's got a cateagle in it.

Head over to The Last Guardian gamepage for the first trailer and screenshots.

this was done in the Beta so it is very basic first attempt, but i have some working tech i should have time to implement into a colossus model now ive broken up for summer from university

These packs i find baffling to be honest, im yet to buy any of them. If they only included a couple of levels then i'd be all over them, the 2000AD pack was perfect for a couple of Mega City One levels for example, yes i know there are talented people out there in the community who will create stuff but why aren't MM creating their own levels or asking the artists at 2000AD etc to create a level or two. They would sell a load more of these packs if they did.. the ICO pack is crying out for a level designed by Team ICO, i'd buy that in a heartbeat!!!

This is all very well, but people still aren't buying the game, and copies are already in bargain bins for less than a tenner.

Damn you, MM. Costumes have no gameplay value - these packs should be FREE.

Now quit with stupid costumes and do some STAGES. I would pay for those.

I might actually get Little Big Planet for these. Not for a while though.

Asking money for these packs is pointless if you ask me. If you would have bought all of these you'll properly have bought the game twice. Bit insane if you ask me. But there still people who will buy them so they keep making them.

I was under the impression this was a level pack. Could be wrong, but we'll see when it comes out.

This is the only pack so far that I'm even remotely tempted to buy. But I'm not going to, it's a waste of money. Someone must be buying them though. Morons.

Some of the costume downloads I've found on PSN are free, so perhaps we'll be lucky with this.
