    First! (across the line, etc)

    Superb. Race pro will keep me occupied until this hits. Still ploughing through Ferrari challenge to this day. Good force feedback in that title and agressive AI. Any ideas of release date?

    single format eh? obviously making money isn't a big concern for them.

    Is Ferrari Challenge any good? I passed it by after reading a couple of mediocre reviews.

    nothing wrong with single format especially when your only competition has still yet to release anything more than a demo. ( I enjoyed prologue but its not seen anything like the additions to it they promised) people seem to forget that while the PS3 hasn't outsold the other two there is a critical mass of consoles out there to sell very nicely thank you very much

    ferrari challenge is the best racing game i've played on a console. can't wait for supercar.

    "Ferrari Challenge was decent, if flawed, I'm looking foward to see if they've learned from FC. "

    Absolutely, not amazing but a decent game from system 3. I to am looking forward to seeing what they do with the sequel.

    (and that new Last Ninja game)

    / dreams "if only"......

    Ferrari Challenge was good, if a bit sterile. Unfortunately this doesn't look any more vivid either, so I guess I'll pass until it hits the bargain bin.

    I hope this is a lot more polished than Ferrari Challenge. Let's aim for a smooth-running, tear-free game at 720p, eh boys, instead of jumping the gun and going 1080p, a resolution which few people can use anyway? ;)

    I can use 1080p!! If I had a PS3..

    @smurphs
    Given its price these days, it's worth a shot if you're interested in racing. £17 in blockbuster last time I checked my local store. You start with only one car but if you enter the challenge season, you unlock more. The tutorial with tiff needle is really good at adjusting you to the stlye of driving for FC.

    I enjoy the sense of speed of FC over GT5P, if you string a good run through a chicane, it feels like you're flying along and the sound in cockpit is superb, though other views are a let down in terms of sound.

    Turn off the assists, though I tend to still keep abs at 1-2 and it's a rewarding drive.

    Oh, lame. I thought this was going to be an update of Supercars :(

    No Porsche, it would appear. Shame as that's a reasonable chunk of 'Supercar-ness', especially as they appear to have historics as well (Ferrari P4)
