Super SFIV brings back bonus stages
Smash up cars and punch barrels.
Super Street Fighter IV looks set to reintroduce the car and barrel smashing bonus sequences from Street Fighter II.
That's according to the latest issue of Famitsu, anyway, which you can see on Destructoid.
Screenshots show Ryu (who else?) smashing up a car with hurricane kicks and pummelling barrels as they're launched toward him in a cellar.
The bonus stages are set to feature in both Arcade and Challenge modes.
The Famitsu piece also reveals a few other new features: there's the Replay Channel, where you can talk to other players via voice while watching old fights; Endless Battle, a new eight-player tournament mode; and Team Battle, designed for teams of two or four players.
Super SFIV is due out in spring next year for PS3 and Xbox 360 as a budget-priced standalone release.
As well as new characters - three of which are T. Hawk, Juri and Dee Jay - Capcom is rebalancing the original line-up and adding an extra Ultra combo for each fighter.
As such, Super SFIV and SFIV won't be compatible online, but there may be a bonus for owners of both (besides "having less money").

No PC outing for Super? That's a shame, Capcom did a superb job on SF4 it's the best version (IMO of course).
