Super Mario RPG heads VC update News

Nintendo has decided to run another Hanabi festival, which means various games that never made their way west or to Europe will be added to Virtual Console.
Top of the pops today is Super Mario RPG from the heady days of the SNES, bumped up to 900 Wii Points (approx GBP 6.30 / EUR 9) because, presumably, rare games are more expensive. Still, we get a two month head-start on the US, for once.
The other game, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, was added for a limited time to Virtual Console back in a previous Hanabi Festival splurge. However, Lost Levels is back for good this time and costs 600 Wii Points (approx GBP 4.20 / EUR 6).
Future titles to look out for in the Hanabi Festival are Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (NES), DoReMi Fanatasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure (SNES), Spelunker (NES) and Dig Dug (NES).
No word on how this will affect the alternating WiiWare / Virtual Console updates.

Played a ROM of it a while ago but never got too far. Will definitely be getting this. Seemed great!

Couldn't believe it when I turned the Wii on this morning. Instant download!
Had a brief go and it is fab. Have had to leave it and go to work though. Grrr. |

It makes sense that they charge more for these games, as everyone knows since the original game was rare that means so is the file. Wait, no, that's retarded. Luckily I've got a few hundred Wii Pints converted from stars so it'll cost me the normal amount.
Fantastic games though, nice to see them on. |

Or you could just use an emulator and play it on your PC? Somce ZSnes games can be played multiplayer over the internet (e.g. I used to play mario kart with a few friends online) |

1. Playing games at my desk on my pc sucks balls.. much rather play on my tv while led on my couch 2. Emuilators never get it 100% accurate. 3. That's called PIRACY.. Yeah, why dont we all just run off and download EVERY game and never buy a single one! |
