Suggest a song for Rock Band News

Xbox 360 PlayStation 3 News by Robert Purchese

7 June, 2007

Harmonix is offering you the chance to get four of your favourite songs into the upcoming rhythm action game Rock Band.

All you have to do to join in is head over to the official website, click on the big white picture in front of you, and suggest a quartet of shaggy-haired power anthems for the game. Hit the jackpot and you could well see them included in the final version.

Rock Band is a rhythm action game from Guitar Hero developer Harmonix. It's heading to PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year, and will give you the chance to thrash out guitar, drum and vocal parts of a song on specially designed peripherals.

It's still unclear exactly how much this will all cost, although Harmonix art director Ryan Lesser recently assured us it would be "affordable".

Head over to our Rock Band gamepage for more information.

Europeans, unite!

Make sure you do this to nullify the wave of Americans suggesting Linkin Park tracks!

I would like to see included :

I should be so Lucky - Kyle
Never Gonna Give you up - Rick Astley
Blobby Blobby Blobby - Mr Blobby
Free Love Highway - David Brent

(I have a feeling that lot would really upset the linkin park freaks)

Slayer: Chemical Warfare or Angel of Death.

..it'd never happen though :) and I could imagine they wouldn't come under the banner of 'easy'..

Shouldn't it just be songs that have guitar and drums and vocals?

The Verve - Rolling People

Not much of a Verve fan, but it's a good song, and it has reasonable lead, rhythm, vocals, and drums, so it should be a decent one. No ideas as to others yet.

Except for Mr Blobby, obviously.
