The old bosses look great! Although, EG, it would be nice if you could put a divider or something between each new batch of images...!

Well, on track so far. I'm still sure there will be a new final boss, and I'm also expecting some more original characters to surface. We've seen three to date, and that's not enough. |

OH HELL YES SAGAT.
The new characters do look generic, but in a way that is pretty consistent with the old-school SF2 style - new characters, but looking kind of nostalgic nevertheless. Kind of a nice throwback to the days when you didn't need a hundo's worth of fashion accessories dangling off your designer jacket to be a fighting game character. |

Many SF characters are fairly iconic archetypes of the countries they come from -
Like Guile the army dude Honda the sumo wrestler Dhalsim the mystic But its how theur abilities and fighting styles are then matched to these designs that are their real genius. Plus there are some real out there designs that just work, thanks to great animation and art - like Blanka. It's very hard for new characters to compete against these established ones, but I'm not that keen of what I've seen so far. I htogh some of the new alpha characters were more instantly SF. |
