Who's the new chick? Looks like she has Fei Longs kick thing... And I wonder how they've balance the characters this time round, Zangeif was a joke last time. |

It does look great, however I am still not quite comfortable with how Ryu's face looks. The other characters look fine but Ryu is just a bit off.

Can you get a decent joystick to go with it?
or has anyone here tried the d-pad conversion/improvement on the 360 pad?

Different characters came good at different skill levels.
complete noobs can find dhalsim's stretchy limbs or honda's slap to be useful average players often prefer ryu and kens fireball and dragon punch keep out patterns Experts can play very tight defense and redizzy combos with guile, or annihilate people with the supers suction piledriver. Of course all this all changes depending on the version (and then again in Alpha and SF3). Lets hope an dpray this is as entertaining in the long term! |

Chun Lis legs look way too big compared too her head. Dhalsim looks great.

looking at the screen shots, it appears that characters actually block specific attacks instead of using a generic block stance. This is pretty cool as you can clearly see chun-li blocking the kick of that new character, and Zangief is also blocking blanka's cannonball roll by palming it away with his left hand.

The public desire for this game reminds me of the type of hype that built up around Halo 3, and with this being a multi-platform release, Capcom are going to get very rich from this!

Abel looks like me actually. Im not gay btw. Why is he wearing full contact karate gloves? They are meant to protect the opponent in sparring matches not yourself. That is just as stupid as Balrog wearing boxing gloves in a fight where the opponent wears claws (Vega).
This game is going to be fantastic nevertheless.

I would be surprised if we didn't see the original four bosses, plus at least one other new, final, boss. The two new characters seem to be reasonably well-rounded, and I can see some folk going for them. That said, they lack a theme. What made SF2 so memorable was the 'World Warrior' tag it had, and the inspiration of a roster based around that. These new guys are a bit generic, and I would hope that whatever further characters are added will have stronger themes.
