Ok. So just another US "kung-fu" movie then? Film cuts so sharp and fast you have no idea what's going on on the screen (only that it is a total crap). Oh, how I love this era where every pensioner is basically Wong Fei Hung combined with Miyamoto Musashi hybrid - or at least according to film editors. Sad times...

Actually it should be something like the "Street fighter: The later years"-series on collegehumor.com. It was pretty funny, but still kind of gripping and had nice visual effects.
Recent Action-movies are just cut way to fast. I don't understand why they hire highprofile stunt-coordinators, and then its filmed shaky and cut in that blury style. I really liked the DoA-movie. Because they wanted to show off the girls in their tight outfits it was cut more slowly and you could actually see the action going on. And they did will. The fight scenes were awesome. |

It is a known fact only gay men or straight women can detect if a man has a muscle-fit physique. Straight men can't spot that sort of thing - its invisible to them isn't it?
Anyway, re: Michael Clarke Duncan and Neil McDonough, Pulp Fiction, Green Mile and Band of Brothers respectively were decent. At least this time some of the cast involved have done more than straight to video.

Oh for fuck's sake, why are they even bothering?! Just make it a CGI movie or animation, and keep real actors well away from it.
