Teasier site URL hints at "New Warrior".

Capcom is planning to make a Street Fighter-related announcement tomorrow, 29th September, at 5pm Japanese time, which is 9am BST in old money.

That's according to a teaser site, whose URL includes "newwarrior". A new character for Street Fighter IV, then?

Could be, or perhaps it's something more substantial, with the Japanese Street Fighter IV blog having hinted that a new game of some sort may be in the offing.

Super Street Fighter IV? Street Fighter IV DLC? Free hats for everyone? We'll find out tomorrow.

I hope it is a new version of SFIV that is available as a retail package, complete with disc and booklet and, if we are lucky, some kind of special edition set. DLC is so ephemeral and that scares the crap out of me

I'm up for a tweak having got my 2nd wind over the weekend trying out the PC version. Great game but SF4 definitely needs the 3rd Strike treatment IMO, like the original 3 it becomes flat quite quickly IMO.

I hope it is big man THawk like the screenie suggests. I know many hate him but I like the fella!

Now Capcom announces the date and time that they will make an announcement? Where will it end? PR events for announcements? Budget requirements for announcements factored into game proposals?

I like to be informed as much as the next man, but this is going a step too far, isn't it?

I reckon it will be DLC packs from different games like a SFA pack with Charlie, Guy, Rolento and Ingrid, or even better, a SF3 pack with Alex, Dudley, Remy and Twelve

Exciting news... but I hope it isn't T.Hawk. I'm sure he was left out of the game for a better reason than DLC to be released later on.

I think I'm one of the few who would support the release of a new disc based SF4.

This is going to be "Super Street Fighter 4"

It will include:

T-Hawk
Dee Jay
Guy
Adon
Makoto

and at least one brand new character

And I don;t think it will be DLC although this hasn't been ruled out!

Is this an attempt at being able to say "I called it" if that information turns out to be correct??

EDIT: More likely than that list are reports that it's going to be "King Cobra". There is concept art of him around the internet, including one of him wearing Ken's DLC costume (fluffy collar Gi)

It's very obciously Super Street fighter 4 or whatever they changed the name to. It is more than likely a new game with lots of new characters, more than likely the ones that were leaked, and a tweaked game.
