Still no echochrome on PAL PSN
Dark Mist and other bits instead.
There's still no echochrome on the PAL PlayStation Store this week, but there are at least a few bits and pieces to take your mind off it, according to VG247.
One Overlord demo of extra evil, for example, mixed in with the PSN game Dark Mist, which is okay and maybe worth a punt if dungeon-crawling is your thing.
A better PSN title to splash out on is PixelJunk Monsters, which expanded with its Encore pack this week for GBP 1.99.
Or you can buy some extra Everybody's Golf Characters, because Gloria and Alex are golf and cost just GBP 0.69 each.
The excellent WipEout Pure is on the PSP Store for PC (GBP 14.99), as is Command & Conquer Red Alert that rings a bell in our rusty real-time strategy bucket-head.
And, if none of that tickles your fancy, then you'll have to make do with themes for PAIN, Eye of Judgement, Warhawk and Overlord, as well as trailers for Brothers In Arms (yes it does still exist), Burnout Paradise and Dark Sector.

Yeah, quite understandable really given the amount of text they have to translate into the multiple European languages.
/sarcasm mode off
Seriously though, I'm not in the slightest bit surprised as we're still waiting for the Shivering Isles expansion pack here in Europe which the US got before Christmas and which is already out as part of the GOTY edition so there's no language excuses in this case. So why have we had to wait four months and counting...? :?

1) Use a copy of normal Obv to get past a certain part of the game.
2) Certain DLC fixes the scripting when installed. Natch we don't have any though.
The only people getting fixes to Oblivion are the PC users, because they are fixing the game themselves using the TESC.
Their DLC's were broken when released, the game was broken when released. They fixed some bits, said "thats it, no more patches" even in the face of hordes of people slinging bugs and glitches in their faces. Still, roll on Fallout 3 eh?
I certainly put this in Beths court rather than Sony's, really don't think they could be arsed, especially in the face of not bothering to fix a game breaking bug on the PS3.

But Pixeljunk Monsters stuff will always be welcome. Can't wait (to get home and purchase).

The update looks excellent, will be getting the golf characters and trying out Dark Mist.

I agree completely - quite a good update for once.
Dark Mist and more PixelJunk Monsters... can't be a bad thing. Dark Mist is pretty good IMO.
After I have tried the Echocrome demo, I'm not really hyped for it anymore. Seems like a ok puzzler but nothing revolutionary.
