Shame, the game has potential and I wouldn't like to see a second Stargate game go under.

Well Magic 8 ball of game futures, does this mean that Stargate Worlds is screwed?

*shake* *shake*

"All signs point to Yes"

I wanted to this to succeed, a Stargate game MMO makes prefect sense given the jumping to different worlds (instances) etc ah well guess I'll wait and see

Even if it goes under someone might take up the license. This will be one of the games competing with Star Trek online and Eve Online (I wish I could say Firefly Online as well).

i can't believe people would still carry on working for 124 days without pay. I mean loyalty to a company is one thing, but surely that would tell most sane people which way the land is lying?

What gets me is, they DELIBERATELY screwed over the last company to license this franchise for a game, and prevented them from bringing it to market so that they could pass it over to THIS company, who look set to go bust now.

GREAT JOB.

Farscape? Yes, I could agree. Or Andromeda. Or Babylon 5. Battlestar bloody-Galactica Online.
Fifth Element Online? ID4 Online? Yes. YES!

Because you list those licenses, it doesn't also mean the corresponding games will suddenly appear. Some company will have to start producing it. Producing it will be the same process this Stargate game went through. WHICH HAPPENS TO BE PRONE TO BANKRUPTCY. So wtf dudes. Yeah thanks, you said "bring on Farscape" and you solved this entire class of problems. Sheesh.

I can see this ending up with SOE. They need a big new space game what with Star Wars, Star Trek and Jumpgate games all imminent.
