Stargate Worlds beta sign-ups begin

Set hotkey to "decipher hieroglyphics".

Stargate Worlds, the science fiction MMO based on the cult Egyptology-in-space film and TV series, has opened registration for its closed beta-testing phase.

You can sign up now at the official site. The early bird catches the worm, but the earlier bird signed up to the Stargate Worlds forum ages ago, and thus got a chance to register for beta last week.

We think Stargate Worlds sounds quite interesting, especially the minigame-based archeologist support class.

Stargate Worlds is currently scheduled for release at the end of this year.

    Looking forward to this.......shame the next expansion for WoW will be out when its released, ah well :(

    Hmmm. Every timne you press the "apply for beta" button, it takes you to account registration.

    For me at least, at the bottom of the registration form there's 3 tick boxes, and the middle one is for signing up for the beta. I almost missed it because it's sandwiched between 2 of the usual "Tick here to get tons of spam" ones.

    Exactly. Create an account, select "Apply for Beta" checkbox at the bottom of the page, wait.

    If you have opted in for beta test consideration you will be put into our database of users and notified over the coming weeks when you are accepted.

    Well what's wrong with it is I created an account, and logged in.

    But it STILL takes me to reg every time. And yes I have cookies on etc.

    EDIT. Hold on. Is that it? I thought that was making a site/forum account. If I'm being dense, then apols :/
    EDIT AGAIN. I am being dense, should have read the confirm email better. Damn ADD kicking in as usual. Sos chaps.
