StarCraft II Mac beta in April
"Hang in there," says Blizzard.
Blizzard hopes to have a Mac version of the StarCraft II beta up and running in April.
The developer said on the Battle.net forum this was being worked on "currently" and for us to "hang in there".
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty - the first of three StarCraft II games - will be be released in the first half of 2010.
The game's already being tested on PC, a beta Eurogamer crept into in late February. Our hands-on impressions of StarCraft II tell the full story.

Been playing for about a week now and thoroughly enjoying it. everything looks smooth, and although I dont think ive played a match thats lasted more than 15minutes, of the units ive been able to use, they seem wel animated and sound great.

Not blaming blizzard for this, as its totally down to my own ablity but a tutorial or skirmish mode would be nice atleast as i cant truely test the multiplayer when cant survive very long.
So nice to see more peeps and hello to our mac brothers, now if can have a linux client i can play it on my laptop as well yay.

The problem with that is that ordinary people just fuck off as they can't get a decent game going. It wouldn't be so bad if blizzard just unlocked skirmish so you could actually learn instead of being pulverised before you have a chance to find out what's what.
