The force powers in the trailer, excepting the rather-silly-if-not-explained-further intro shot, didn't seem dramatically different in extent to those of the supercharged gravity gun in Half-Life 2.

Now that does sound like a lot of fun, provided the control system isn't too forgiving/context dependent. That rarely harmed Lego Star Wars, it should be said.

Lucas, though seems unwilling to bow to the sensibilities of 30-year-olds who pored over the Star Wars encylopedias back when they were printed in books! Books, I tell you, made of paper!

We should probably just slink off to our mid-nineties VHS copies and leave the kids to it.

That's it! I'm done.*

* Unless a new DF or X-Wing sequel come out.

Love the whole story behind this, and so far I also loved what I've seen of the In-Game footage. I'll be getting this game when it drops.

"Everyone should be able to see the whole story through" is a shoddy justification for the shoddy length of what looks like, for all intents and purposes, a shoddy game. Pandering to the lowest common denominator is not only patronizing but often self-defeating.
I was hyped for TheForceUnleashed until I read this article.

KotOR was the only decent Star Wars game released in recent memory and that's only because BioWare was in charge of it.

I'm officially giving up on the Star Wars franchise. It's obvious to see that it's been on life-support ever since Liam Neeson uttered the word "midichlorian". Maybe it's time to pull the plug.
