Costumes, props for 30th anniversary.

LucasArts will flood the Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace with Star Wars costumes and props tomorrow.

Why? Because it's the 30th anniversary Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back [as you rightly pointed out -Ed].

Costumes include a caped Lando, Chewbacca, Boba Fett and C-3PO. Props include a baseball cap with Yoda ears and yes, a Lightsaber.

They'll cost, but we're not sure how much. Keep an eye on the Xbox.com Avatar Marketplace for the influx.

Costumes:

Imperial snowtrooper (male and female)
Boba Fett (male and female)
Lando costume with cape (male)
Chewbacca (male and female)
Rebel snowspeeder pilot (male and female)
Han Solo Hoth outfit (male)
Leia Hoth outfit (female)
Bossk (male and female)
C-3PO (male and female)
AT-AT pilot (male and female)

Props:

Tauntaun pet
Baseball cap with Yoda ears (male and female)
Lightsaber

Didn't Star Wars come out in 1977 which was 33 year ago? Empire came out 30 years ago I think.

Real money for virtual costumes from a 30 year old film. Shouldn't you get them all for free with a Star Wars game or something?

Just wait for the originals to appear on Blu-Ray; then you'll see a milking machine in action. I already bought then on VHS, VHS widescreen, DVD and DVD special edition. Will I fall for it again?

I have a terrible habit of buying Avatar stuff when I'm drunk. So far I've got Storm Trooper, Cupid, Easter Bunny, Annoying FF13 brat, Gears 3 COG outfit (plus hat). There's probably more. I've got a bad feeling I'll be turning up as Chewbacca this weekend.

Probably because there is already a blue one available from the crappy Clone Wars game costume pieces.

No complaints here, I always give my Jedis green lightsabers so it's only fitting I should have one...

(I've never understood the fanboy love for Boba Fett. He turns up, says about 3 lines, operates as a taxi service by carrying Han toJabba, and is then killed in the most ridiculous way imaginable. He left no impression.
