Pretty but MMO the kiss of death for me :(

Mind you as much as I love Star Trek, the thought of playing Star Trek online with millions of geeks who take it far too seriously scares the hell out of me anyway :)

I wonder how many will complain that the schematics for a Klingon Bird of Prey are not correct or the phasers range is off by 0.5 metres etc......

Dizzy it's nothing to do with the ROLE play in MMORPG TBH.

Have you met Trekkies/Trekkers? Strange bunch mate, strange bunch. I'd recommend a movie called Trekkies (1&2) to show the levels some people go, scary stuff :)

Ooh, prerendered generic scenery. Nice. /sarcasm

Also, that doesn't look much like the Hirogen communications network. I think it's more of a redesigned starbase or shipyard.

Disappointed with these shots - there's not much Star Trekky in them at all. Still, at least it beats showing us some pre-rendered Lightwave Enterprise.

Screenshots for a star trek game that don't include an Enterprise? Or a Bird of Prey? Fail.

Personally, I won't be playing for the same reason I never played Galaxies or World of Warcraft, but will be interesting. Eve meets WoW? We'll see.
