Although... I thought Star Ocean 4 was a PS3 game? As the trailer was on the Star Ocean remake UMD?

I reckon the first screenie is from a pre rendered cut scene but the 3rd, 4th and 5th screenies all look in game and are still pretty damn impressive. Looks good, not sure about the by the numbers character designs but I'm liking the general art style.

Inquisitor, yeah, I completely agree about the character designs. They look uninspired and could have easily been lifted from any number of JRPGS. Though if the game itself is as good as Star Ocean 3, such minor flaws will be overshadowed by what will surely be one of the best RPGS around.

screens 1 and 2 obviously CG. 3,4 and 5 Definately ingame. looks gorgeous! definately better looking then SO4 and IU

It looks lovely, if a little 'seen it all before'.

I'm puzzled that it's on 360, though. Surely Square Enix realises that there is no market for Star Ocean outside of Japan and it's not going to sell well on 360 over there ... ?

Credit where it's due...i'm impressed with the amount of RPG's turning up for 360 it shows amazing determination by Microsoft, they must be shoveling loads of money at Square etc. to make these timed exclusives happen.

I COMPLETELY disagree.

I was one of the 10 people who bought Star Ocean 2 on the PS1 on release day! (well, UK release day anyway...)

I seriously need a 360 again.

edit: I was one of the 10 people who bought Star Ocean 2 EVAH!
