Give us back our destructable walls - destructable everything of the first UFO games PLEASE! And set it in present day again. I want to blow up a convenience store, shoot a rocket launcher at a petrol station and see the devastation and kill civilians!

Heh, this looks quite good fun.

It looks like they've finally decided to give the original (and best) Enemy Unkown an overhaul.

MoFo is right though, one of my favourite things about Enemy Unknown was that when the aliens would take cover - you could just blow up the cover!

Oh... and those aliens which would infest civilians and your X-Com team, and turn them into drones.

Tried Laser Squad: Nemesis yet? Purely tactical rather than story driven, but excellent when playing on-line. Something you can neatly fit into the odd spare 5/10 minutes.

    Give the trial a go.

deaner: this has no affilliation with x-com whatsoever, none of the same staff, or anything.

It's a sequel to UFO: Aftermath, an x-com clone that ended up being nothing better than medicore.

The "UFO" part is just to draw in x-com fans, despite the first game being shit.

You have to remember, the first X-com game was only known as 'UFO: Enemy Unknown' in Europe, so it's only Europeans who would assume that this series is a continuation of that one.

I quite liked their previous one, but the visuals stank and the difficulty curve sucked massively. This might be worth a punt tho, but I suspect I'll be waiting for reviews this time.
