None of this is in game though, is it? We want in game shots, how many times do I have to say it!

I'd say 'in-game' too. If you were doing a CG, you'd not go with flat texturing for the corrugated metal sheets in that 10th shot - you'd model it properly seeing as it was so prominent.

Also, there's a transparency issue with the trees/chain-link fence in that 7th shot you wouldn't get with a rendered image.

I think it's in-game - god I hope it turns out looking that nice!

The characters still suffer from the Barbiedoll syndrome, but I guess that's the case with every 3D game that aims for realism (and I'm not seeing that change anytime soon).

But I think what Perry means is that none of these shots are actual gameplay, more like pretty camera angles. They use the ingame engine but you still don't get a feel of how the game might play from these.

I think it certainly looks in-game. I just hope it's as good as the first.

If that is in game then I am a happy bunny. Looks like the "video footage/director" feature to me, but I am certainly no expert.

Shot number 8 looks like an updated "School 2" level. Some of the texturing on those shots is pretty nice, but the character models still look like they've been dipped in grease. Not as badly as in some games... but still evident.

Sweeeeeeeet. I'm a sucker for all Tony Hawk games, no matter how bad the game is, I still play it to the end at least three times in a row before getting my a** off my couch, take my skateboard and pass 30 minutes of pain while I try to do some moves again.

Can't say I thought much to that 'thumbstick -> feet' control thing for tricks. I have a hard enough time landing without the camera suddenly switching to a view where I can't see the floor any more...
