I loved Morrowind, and can't wait for this one. The world is supposed to be smaller, but the detail is huge. The AI are meant to be massively improved upon.

Again... can't wait!!

Looks very nice indeed! Hopefully there's more to it than pretty pictures, though?

It's an Elder Scrolls game, Blerk. These games aren't about pretty pictures, they are just a bonus. :)

Yeah these games are about travelling the world and levelling up far too soon making the game far too easy.

Also before Morrowind they used to be filled with bugs.

Apparently its even larger than Morrowind. Morrowind was 3 miles by 3, this is 4 by 4, according to the developers. I actually dont think Ive ever been so excited about a game before in my life. Please be good...

I thought they said it was actually smaller, with more focussed game and story? There's probably some interview on here I could link to if I could be arsed.

Morrowind certainly felt larger than 3x3 miles. With that whole island and lots of places and cities to explore and all that. We'll see how Oblivion will compare, since it's supposedly focused on the area around the imperial capital.

Anyway, whoever buys this for the 360 must be crazy. You'd be missing out on the gazillions of mods that will be coming out soon after. (Not to mention the joys of mod-making itself...)

This game looks awesome, not even to mention the Radiant AI and these screenshots don't do the game justice, the in game videso of it, show the game off 100 times better... visually and gameplay wise, anyway i can't wait to get this game, it will rock... and to the one that said anyone that gets it for the Xbox360 will miss out on alot... yeah that might be right but like i know i don't have the 800 - 1000 dollars to upgrade my computer enough to even see the game looking this good on my PC and my PC is pretty good as it is.

ok mate that is just silly! go open up Halo2 and compare them graphics! I think you will find that the grass on halo2 is flat??!! looks real from about 10mtrs away but when u zoom in with sniper it looks sh1te! where as on Oblivion (if you could) zoom in with a sniper and u will see the grass moving in the gentle wind and the little ants crawling around living life (well summat like that).

Also anyone think they will do a PvP on Xbox Live? the way you can fight would be wicked fighting over Live! actually defending using a shield and slashing your mates up with a massive sword! /creams

Can I just add that on the movie released on www.elderscrolls.com it says "16 square miles" so where you got this 4 bullshit from i dont know but if im wrong i will suck my balls and drink piss.

@Glitch - 4 * 4 miles is 16 square miles.

Re: the graphics, technically they're good (except for the disproportionately low resolution of distant textures) but the artists need to
a) make the characters grip their swords properly.
b) get rid of that f***ing light bloom effect.
