Very pretty indeed. Any idea what it is about

Tunguska was the huge explosion that there are various conspiracy theories about, right? But most sane people think it was an asteroid.

Cool! Looks VERY pointy-clicky! \0/ yay!
Tunguska is suspected to be an asteroid that detonated about 6-8km above the ground and flattened trees for approx 22km in 1906ish, no-one got there until 1912 or maybe later as it's in Siberia.

Now, imagine a modern 3D point-and-clicker with a somewhat realistic style NOT having a female lead character and plot hooks to Siberia. ^_^

Caught me by surprise this one did, can't wait to hear more about it.

Not a problem here, If i'm going to be spending hours looking at the back of a digital character, i'd rather they had a nice girly bum to gawp at. :)

The explosion from the exploding asteroid/comet was ENORMOUS, atom-bomb scale, but because it struck Siberia there weren't really any people there to notice it. Had it struck a town or city, it would have been wiped out.

The people at NASA who are meant to look for these things in real life are underfunded, and have an annual budget similar to the budget of a PS2 game. So if we do get killed in asteroid impacts due to underfunding, at least we know the money was used sensibly on stuff like Driv3r.

Current thinking is leaning toward asteroids not being solid but more like loose compounds of rock and dust. Try to deflect them by blowing them up and we risk splitting it into many smaller chunks that could devastate whole swathes of land in airburst fireball frenzy.
    Not good. :)
but i hope the game is!

Can't wait for the Eurogamer review of this. Hopefully the game turns out to be a good point'n'click game.
