That is so weird. It still doesn't work for me (404), but it works for a friend (who, incidently, uses the same ISP and lives in the same city). Anyway, he sent me the comic, I infriged some copyrights by upping it to my webspace for the people who get a 404 on PA. Enjoy.

Edit: Typo, oh and if it's slow well give me money so that I can afford real webspace. :)

RTS come FPS?.. can't do much worse than westwood, i fear the licence might not be so lucrative nowdays as Starcraft is aging now and many console players would probably never heard of it, why not Warcraft which has been released on a few consoles if i recall..

..i actually installed Starcraft for the first time the other-day, heard nothing but good things.. but the graphics are to crude and zoomed in, i find it unplayable.. maybe all these fancy graphics are ruining our imaginations ?

Heh - PC die-hards make me laugh. Like someone already said, if a new FPS based in the Starcraft universe had been announced as a PC exclusive, most PC owners would be creaming themselves in anticipation of "this great and groundbreaking title - what Starcraft owners have been waiting for!"
But announce that it's a (spit) "CONSOLE GAME" and the comments are along the lines of "Hopelessly unoriginal, only an FPS because that's about all consoles can handle. The dumbing down of a legend" etc etc.

I sit on the fence though. I think PC owners are just sore that Halo has been an EggsBox eclusive for ages, and "could've been so much better a game" if it'd been released for top-end PCs.

Answer one question though - who's the mug? Someone who spends 200 quid on a console and a game, or someone who spends nearly 2 grand to get a high end PC with a kick ass "obsolete the minute you get it home" graphics card?!

StarCraft: Ghost probably would be a revolution for PC games - seeing as they don't get this type of game often, if at all. Putting it on console adds to the long line of games of the genre.

Wah Wah Wah, I hate you!!! :p I am actually entirely bored with single player FPS, there has been so little invention. Halo is just the same and what little I have played I was entirely bored with that too, it doesn't matter what platform it is on.

I think I have probably spent 2 grand on PC hardware over the course of about 8-10 years. Anyone who spends 2 grand on a new PC has got more money than sense. Although I agree the "obsolete the minute you get it home" thing is stupid.

depends on whether u can afford it, and if u get use out of it. better spend 2 grand on a pc that u use a lot, than 200 on a console that u play once, then bung in a cupboard and forget about.

all systems have their merits - except the xbox ;) as long as u r happy with what u got, then its all good.

You fool. Its not all about power. I spend about 400-700 pounds a month on my PC, I see myself as a creative PC enthusiast.
Btw, consoles ARE OBSOLETE BEFORE THEY'RE EVEN MANUFACTURED.

Consoles are fixed platforms with games designed to run on that spec for a five year or so period, and TVs still max out at about 1000 pixels vertical, so it's pointless making a console output more (it'd only break your telly).

Is that any clearer?
