    racing?!!! where are the cars?

and why isn't it possible to see the comments at the end of the article? I don't like to extra-click for the comments. If some users complained, put a setting in the personal profile, I have plenty of bandwidth and want to see it all at once.

thumbnails are nice, but when you view it fullsize it doesn't look any better than GT3. lets hope the cars are upto scratch.

No, it's an Xbox game. That's why there's an Xbox logo in the top right of the page.

    Wow, a racing game!!!

    I’m a little bit disappointed.
I only play the first stage of the game (5 races) and at the moment I can’t say that I’m amazed.
In this stage you have to race 4 races but when you race the third you’re challenged to race and win a race in the same track of the third race in order to get your cars followed by a local newspaper (it’s more a less like a license test).
With this short experience I only can make a few comments and they aren’t to much good. I hope things go better in next stages.
    Now comments:
In the start you have to choose a car, a name for your team and corporation and a logo.
Them the game starts. All you have to do now is race.
The first 3 races are very easy (to much easy), then comes the challenge that is almost so easy as the races and then the final race.
When you return to your garage you’ll see more people working there and a new project car.
About tracks and scenarios I must say that comparing to other games you’ll be disappointed. They are much closer to a cartoon that to the reality. (They’re miles away from GT2002)
About cars they are ok but only at the grid or in the garage, when you’re racing you almost can’t distinguish it.
Motors sound like vacuum cleaners, they don’t sound real, the same with slides spins and hits.
Handling. The cars handles like a train you can’t miss a turn because is like you are driving in a railway (is really easy to win) you can go always as fast as you can, you rarely break or reduce speed.
Talking about trains if you are close followed by a car it can pass you and fly out 100m as it’s nothing. First I thought that it’s the train effect but then I realise that you can’t do the reverse, I explain, if it’s you that are following in the rear of other car and you try to overtake you can’t do the same (pass and go away).
One more thing, if you follow to the end of the race and you lose 200m or more to the last car you’ll be able to overtake everyone else and get close to the first car in a few seconds (that’s not real and make things to much easy).
Just to finish, those are first impressions I’ve to play a lot more in order to see if things are as I’m telling now.
There’s a thing that I must tell the concept of the game is good and I hope that I find new interesting things in the game that make me change my first judgment.

The other problem is that your car is the fast one you’re going at max speed at 1st place and then you are passed by all the cars even the slowest ones.

It seems that we can’t find one constant in the game behaviour, for instance challenge are to much easier or to much harder.

Well I tried to attack first place only on the last lap as late as possible in order to surprise the computer and I don’t let the computer hit me when I’m trying to pass.

That seems to work but I would like someone else opinion please.

I don’t now at what point are you all

But I won 52 races at this moment and I beat a lot of challenges (said it before they are like license testes)
    Newspaper challenge
    Arabian Price challenge
    Industrial espionage challenge
    Black night challenge
    Police challenge
    Car of the year challenge
    Police confirmation challenge
I can’t remember if I miss to mention any

    I also win three championships:
    Amateur
    Semi-pro
    Pro

    I’ve got 24 different cars

When I first said that the game seems to much easy I had only raced the amateur championship.

Now the things are really difficult, but you all are right, they aren’t just difficult because the game is difficult. They are difficult because the game cheats almost all the time.

Impossible things happen all the time:
As you said no matter what you can count that:
If you’re in the lead you’ll be passed.
If you are slightly touched you’ll be completely throw away.
If you want to throw the other guy away it will be like if you are a fly hitting an armoured car.
If you change the settings of your car nothing happens.
If you beat some challenges in the next loading you’ll be frozen.*
If you reload you have to beat that impossible challenge again.*

*I saw in some French and Italian sites that this may only happen in the European version (racing Evoluzione) because Milestone is trying to figure the bug and correct it to US version (APEX).

    The good points are:
    Some tracks have great graphics.
The idea is good and different from other games.
If you are tolerant you can enjoy a little bit the game.
The female characters are well done.

That’s all for now latter on I give you more news.
