While I do not know whether D3 was censored in Germany - the demon babies surely did not resemble real people close enough to be considered harmful - I still remember how the UK/European release of Fallout 2 was treated. Children - the sprites/art represented on screen - were cut but their dialogue remained; a disembodied child's voice, now that's scary! ;-)

Though as long as this will be like Doom 3 in the sense that you get to experience the story through well-narrated logs and diaries from dead people scattered everywhere, and get to rummage through people's stuff and see what they were doing when they died, I'm all for it. I just love that stuff.
