You can just hear the awful music kicking in looking at that throat cut sequence.

Whats with the size of his feet in the last shot. They're tiny, looks like he could buy kid shoes and escape the VAT :)

That last shot looks like they're gunning for the "stealth" element...

Another totally pointless and useless thing that is being added to POP to make it more appealing to people today, but is more than likely going to weigh it down by forcing the action to slow down...

Come on Ubi! More "Sands of Time" and less "Warrior Within" please.

I'd love to have a chat with someone from Ubisoft (completely unofficially of course) and find out if the developers HONESTLY think this new approach is better. I'm not talking about sales - I guess the evidence is clear there - but artistically, do they honestly feel as proud of this?

Why d'you need to ask? Of course they don't.

edit. Well, I say that. The game designers will care most. Artists may care more about, well, the art, and the coders will be looking to release a game without bugs that performs well. People in game develoment seem to be split between those who want to produce games that sell, and those who want to make great games, regarless of the consumer, thinking that a great game will speak for itself in sales. Often not the case, but I digress; in my personal experience, yes, it stings when your game comes out and it isn't everything you wanted it to be, and it stings even further if the developer has not had control over decisions to take a game in a different direction.

They're re-writing history to hide the existance of PoP 3D. Just like in a decades time, someone will try to hide the existance of Warrior Within (and this one, probably).

And also the two originals? Bah.

Guess they don't want the Playstation Generation kiddies wondering what they've missed.

Are these screenshots? Look more like concept art to me. Excellent as usual.
