I don't know if this game'll turn out at all intelligible, but these shots do look very dramatic, even in GBA-tastic minuto-vision. In motion this should be something to behold.

It's kind of similar to FFX in that the textures aren't all that great, the modelling is quite impressive but still very angular but the eye candy special effects are stunning. One shot in particular looks lovely - http://www.eurogamer.net/assets/articles/a3561/OTOGI061.jpg and it's nice how the smoky air in various shots looks really soft as opposed to the tufts of flat textures that 'follow' you to give the illusion of smoke in most games like Silent Hill 2. They smoothed the fogging a fair bit for SH3 it must be said but you can still see individual tufts in the air, this is just smooooth.

How it plays is another matter, from videos the game I would compare it to most is that recent Tecmo yoyo game everyone ignored. Blow it all to smithereens.

played it and it's a classic case of 'wow' then 15 secs later... ' hmm it's as uncontrollable as it looks and the bits that are controllable are boring then... nice'
