    So, how d'you pronounce it?

From what I'd read, I thought it was "loo-min-ess".

    OK, so d'you think it's "LOO-min-ess" or "loo-MIN-ess" or "loo-min-ESS"?

Not that I really care that much, just making conversation, you know

Thinking about it, I think I prefer Loo Mines.

    "We've hit another seam!"

If it was lu-min-ess it would be two s's, wouldn't it?

It looks more like Lu-min-ez (single s - spanish sounding)

Heck, I'm calling it loo-mines from now on...

    Heh.

Loo-mining, the only type of mining where you really wouldn't want to hit the mother lode.

Especially if mother's had a Dhansak or three.

Much as I hate (love) to be pedantic -

I believe the correct pronunciation to be LOO-MIN-NESS.

This is down to the way that Japanese people represent their language with our alphabet. I would imagine, and I am ready to be corrected should anyone actually be reading this, that LOO-MEENS would be Lumiins or the like. Likewise on the S sound not being a Z sound.

We established that. However, it's already too late - I'm half way through coding up an advanced bathroom furniture mining simulation, on its way to Xbox 2 and Revolution in just two months' time. The game is to be called "Lu-mines"

Port it to the PSP, then you could play it on the loo...
