Left Behind: Eternal Forces in development over at Left Behind Games, is a PC RTS based on the book series created by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.

The company has a strong Christian outlook and their vision 'is to become the world’s leading independent developer and publisher of quality interactive entertainment products that perpetuate family values and appeal to mainstream and Christian audiences'.

    The game itself features:

    · Conduct physical & spiritual warfare: using the power of prayer to strengthen troops in combat and wield modern military weaponry throughout the game world.

    · Recover ancient scriptures and witness spectacular Angelic and Demonic activity as a direct consequence of your choices.

    · Command your forces through battles across a breathtaking, authentic depiction of New York City.

    · Control more than 30 units types - from Prayer Warrior and Hellraiser to Spies, Special Forces and Battle Tanks!

    · Enjoy a robust single player experience across dozens of New York City maps in Story Mode - fighting in China Town, SoHo, Uptown and more!

    · Play multi-player games as Tribulation Forces or Global Community Peacekeepers with up to eight players via LAN or over the internet!

There is also a trailer which will be available on Eurofiles shortly. The game's due for release some time around Easter this year.

Prayer? Aren't the people who got left behind when God picked his favourites even slightly narked?

Onward Christian soldiers, eh? Whatever happened to thou shalt not kill?

Anyway, I bet my shirt that this will be awful.

Sooo... if you put a "christian family values" sticker at all games then they'll be allright?

Left Behind Games seemes like a pretty ironic name, Running With Scissors might meet their match here, and even learn a thing or two about double standards:

"Same shit, same wrapping, just add christian values"

Surely if it was set after the Rapture, then there's nobody left to pray. Unless the Christians got it wrong, and it's the Buddhists that get 'raptured'. Which would be pretty funny actually.
