Come on! It looks awful!!! it looks like a bloody FLASH cartoon for god's sake!

I'm all for doing things "differently" graphics-wise but this just looks bloody awful!

I found it very stylish and interesting. Of course, with this minimal rendering (hardly any textures for example), the focus would turn to the animation and the polygon detail. This could turn out as a very cool title.

Or maybe those two screenshots are only from the game intro so we're wasting our time commenting them here!

Nah these are the only two shots available...

I can sorta see the point - with minimal textures the thing should shift at a fair rate but to me it still looks too stylised to make an impact on a market obsessed with photo-realistic stuff.

looks ugly, i think we should go back to flat shaded polys, no matter how fancy the new games may be, theres something very satifying about going back to the good old days of Virtua Racing and VF1, i think the brain can comprehend flat-shaded polys alot easier, where as nowdays we can only spot its made out of polys by looking at the edges.

AH HAHAHAAAAAHAHA

No seriously, VF1 was like the epitome of bad poly use. I remember playing that on an arcade machine back when it was still new and laughing my ass off at the characters faces.

Indeed, Indeed - it's one of those mystery games. Nintendo put a date on it just the other day - 27th of June.

Apparently it's not restricted to just the gamecube either, it's destined for the PS2, too.
