Looks nice. But are we not a bit bored of the whole "hugely weaponed space marine" routine?

I'm sure Bertie will be along to tell us what's new and exciting any minute ....

    I saw the bat sign!

Huxley's an MMOFPS from Webzen, coming to the PC and Xbox 360 sometime next year I would imagine. There's more information over on their website and there's a cinematic (and soon ingame trailer) on EGTV.

"are we not a bit bored of the whole "hugely weaponed space marine" routine?"

well it would be a first for a MMORPG, so i guess we should rather be bored of the whole "huge orcs and camp wizards" routine ;)

anyway, i'm a bit curious about this title, since it's so much better looking than other online RPGs. it would take a lot of great game design and work to pull it off well, especially considering the huge amount of high res models and textures needed for a game of this graphical excellence. but i must say, those plains and grasses look very tempting to go questing in...

Its an MMOFPS, not an MMORPG! :)

You'll have to look up the ingame trailer yourselves I'm afraid, seems it's carrying a watermark :)

It looks very impressive though. I thought the shots would be quite far off what to expect actually in game, but it looks very nice indeed, the lighting is lurvely.

It's online only? Man, that sucks, it was looking pretty good too. :(

    *drools*

Ive been waiting for a decent MMOFPS for ages now, Planetside just doesnt cut my cookies in the right shape anymore.

This sounds like it could be good, and could go some way to selling me a 360. However, it will need to show me some movies/screenshots of Planetside battles (1-500 people+). The movies and shots at the moment could really be for any generic online or even single player FPS.

One of the Huxley devs once said that they actually named the game after Aldous Huxley... which somehow, I doubt he would approve.

OK, so what's the relation with "Brave New World"? I can't see any.

hopefully it's awesome, like a brave new world
