all this motion blur everywhere is doing my head in though. :(
Motion Blur will be the legacy/buzz word of the next-gen consoles.

It's the original with a fair few additions and improvements. Hopefully the Xbox crowd will be seduced by the thick sweaty combat in this game, and not be deterred by the lack of bling.

Bohemia are also releasing another PC title (hopefully this year) called Armed Assault, which will add more features on the xbox version, and feature an entirely new campaign.

I fully expect this to be stupendous. The oft overlooked co-op mode kicks ass, and this is a game that can really make good use of it. Deathmatch variants are great also of course.

Is it just me or does this look quite poor?

Perry, if you ever played Operation Flashpoint then you'll know that the graphics really only contribute to 5% of the immersion. At the current level of technology, yes, Operation Flashpoint Elite is rudementary but superb AI and powerful object orientated scripting are better tricks to have up your sleeve than pixel shaders.
