Looks a tad generic, but Monolith know hot to make excellent shooters.

And if this isn't a m0+0rb1k3, I shall not be called UncleLou anymore.

As far as I remember, it all started in the Driver 3 screenshots thread, where some innocent poster asked if there will be motorbikes in Driver 3. Somehow it developed into a running gag - not that it's always particularly funny, mind. ;-)

I always thought the motorbike-thing developed from the fact that GTA3 didn't have them, and that Vice City did.. I know little, and care less (I live a good life!), but I believe that it's older than Driver 3 at least.

As for F.E.A.R.. it kinda looks like an X-Box game doesn't it? It's *cough* a far cry from Half Life 2, at least. Bland textures, the bullet hole-sprites look like stickers glued on, and the characters appears to have been waxed, polished and laminated.

I'll look forward to try the demo, anyway.

Well at least you can see them in the screenshots. In the video PC ZONE had on their cover DVD a couple of months ago you could barely see a thing for all the smoke and particle effects spraying across your field of view.
TBH it looked tedious and repetitive from what I *could* see.

Still might be worth a laugh.

Anyone else think the graphics are gradually being toned down as they go along, to be a bit more realistic (performance wise) for today's hardware?
