    Considering these are 360 shots, It doesnt look much better than the original Far Cry on PC.

    I still think it looks great. So it's not pushing the 360 (none of the current games are) but how can you say that doesn't look good? Maybe I'm just easily pleased.

    No one actually said they didn't look good. They do look good. The trouble is, they look good in a "This looks like Far Cry on my one year old PC" kind of way. Which is nice and shiny, but something I didn't really expect for a console with the xbox360's horsepower. Of course, Crytek not handling the port themselves may have something to do with that.

    Looks too much like the original xbox farcry but a new release is welcome, the map editor was pure genious! I hope they have improved that...

    I think when creating maps you should of been able to pick if the map was to be created for Live play or Linkup because when you create a map for linkup and you want to go snipering, the graphics and models just go proper shit to compensate for Live, which is a shame.

    Also! I think it should be standard that when you complete a game you unlock extra features like new multiplayer maps, models and weapons! How come games dont do this anymore? I remember playing resident evil 3 and I would complete it 5 or 6 times just so I could unlock new clothes/weapons and playable characters!!!

    Aren't the new FarCry titles getting more interactive - bushes, grass etc all move as characters push through them and get destroyed when in the line of fire?

    Well, maybe not new FarCry titles, but the new build of the CryTek engine (that FarCry runs on) is. These really don't look much better than the FarCry: Next Chapter screenies for Xbox... what's going on?

    I am confused. Crytek have been bought by EA? If so, why is Ubi publishing Far Cry console titles and still supporting Far Cry PC? If not, why have they got EA and Ubi listed as 'partners' on their site? And where is the PC sequel? Or will it be a port of X360 Far Cry sequel? And who is doing the sequels anyway, Ubi Montreal? If so, who is doing the PC sequel, EA or Crytek? IF not... ... ...

    I actually want this game after seeing the video of the new water effects for the 360 version:-(

    I can't believe I'd by a new console for water effects!

    I look at this and then look back at my PS2 experience playing Black and I think to myself 'Next Gen? - where is it?' I'll stick to my far better looking current gen thanks.
