    Erm, what's this ?
  • Blerk #2 7 years ago

Er... very difficult to explain in a single sentence. :-)

I can't make heads nor tails of this.

I agree with Blerk, it's very difficult to explain but the gist is that there is a spate of murders and you have a link with the killer, i think you can see the killings as they happen. Sounds terrible when i explain though. help me someone! :)

Basically i'm looking forward to this and hoping it won't turn out to be overly ambitious and therefore broken.

ah cool! So it's a point and click adventure?

There's some information on Quanticdream's website for the game, if you fancy a butcher's.

It's only Indigo Prophecy in the US.

It's a sort of adventure/thriller/thingy/lost the plot/bugger/you really need to read a proper preview/stuff kind of er... thing.
  • Blerk #8 7 years ago

Oh! There's a trailer on the site. Not seen it moving before...

    /waits

Well I've read a preview of it (in gamesTM) and I stil haven't really got the foggiest about what it is - just lots of things that it isn't

Still, in any case I get the feeling that this is a PC-ish sort of a game, if you know what I mean. I'm a little concerned that the console versions won't really work, but we'll see.

I read somewhere that while the left stick is used for moving your character around, the right stick moves your arm in a clever context-sensitive way. I could be wrong though. If it works it could be a really good way to get the adventure/point'n'click style to feel more immersive.

The way i saw it was it was a pointy clicky style game with action sequences similar to shenmue's thing where you have to hit buttons when prompted
  • Blerk #12 7 years ago

Quite looking forward to seeing this one in action still. I think it's less 'pointy clicky' and more 'Silent Hill' tbh, Hunam...

I'm sure there was a trailer of this around that's peaked my interest even more...

    /has a look

It's either fallen off the bottem of the list on Eurofiles, or it was never there. I'll grab a new one, it's quite interesting!

From playing the PC demo, I thought this would make a good console title. But the visuals on the PC version seem much better.

    Decisions, decisions.

    PC version + xbox controller.
