Heading for the PC and next-gen consoles by the sound of it, althought there's no release date as of yet.

There's more info on the homepage.

Cheers!

By 'next-gen' do you mean 'next-gen' or 'this gen'?

Judging by the image quality, I think it's "next-gen" make. Very "next-gen" indeed. (C:

Looks lurvely... even if they only half-fix the "what the hell am I doing next" problems from Morrowind I'll be happy to wander around those environments for days.

And then soil myself when I bump into one of those lizard fellas.

Apparently they have full game code running already. Playtesters are running around Oblivion as I type, playing new quests as they are added and reporting bugs and such.

That's a testing job I wouldn't mind, every day/week there'd something new, a little extra detail, a new quest.

I'd guess Xbox 2 and the PC to be the most likely formats. I doubt we'll see a Revolution or PS3 release.

I doubt Bethesda would rule out PS3 or Revolution ports just because the PC and Xbox fans have treated them well.

Looks fantastic. I loved everything about Morrowind except the combat, which was stupid. Hope they sort that out.

Isn't the Xbox 2 architecture going to be similar to the XBox architecture, and thus similar to a PC? That's why I think Bethesda won't bother, or simply don't have the development resources, to release it on all major next-gen platforms. But hey, it's just pure speculation on my part.

Well, either way I'm buying the PC version. Cheaper, and probably better graphics.

The biggest problem of RPGs are usually not technical, but logical bugs. Which will be in both versions. So I'd prefer the easily patchable one. Not to mention the countless addons.

But if you want an inferior version for more money, be my guest. :D

I think I will thanks - The extra resolution and textures of the PC version aren't worth the hassle I let myself in for everytime I weaken and buy the PC version of a game.

Console all the way...

@ UL: With LIVE!, IŽd say that patching an Xbox/360 game is actually easier than patching a PC one.

Great - seems like the "delete post" function has headed off to E3 early.
