    ... is this a remake or a new game? Hope they don't savagely assault the fond memories I have of the original...

    Now that's ugly. What the hell is wrong with sprites?

    Looks like they're trying to do the same thing as that ghost & goblins game and turn everything 3D. It also looks like it's in 'impossi-rez' so that'll affect the final images (and not for the better either).

    3D models apparantly save more time than doing sprites (and space I believe) - using only one model and commands to move it requires less space than reams of sprites in animation (... what? I learned that here in one of the EG comments sections a while back, yes, you DO learn stuff here. Not sure where I'll ever use that information but hey, you never know...), but yeah, this isn't exactly a pretty transition... at least with Ghosts and Goblins, they made an effort, it looked... right.

    This looks wrong... EJ looks like a piece of malformed tofu...

    Hang on... I can play that on SNES9x!

    @Kami

    Yeah, sprites cost space, but surely someone out there has written compression algorithms that can squeeze a SNES cart onto a PSP UMD/MD!

    Oh god that looks fucking horrible. Undetailed, soulless, charmless.

    OH BUT ITS 3D AND 3D IS BETTER DONT YOU KNOW

    Im probably in the minority here but i think its looks quite good...

    If they can make Jim move fluidly then it'll look pretty good i think.
