Does it (I refer to the game, 'Driver 3') have, or are there plans to implement, include, or in some way feature road-going vehicles of a twin wheeled, preferably motorised nature? Thanking you in advance for any response to my question. You see, my son told me quite seriously earlier today that if the game ('Driver 3') did not feature any road-going vehicles of a twin wheeled, preferably motorised nature then he would go about self terminating. This concept is certainly one that worries me greatly as I am sure you can understand.

Motorcycles, right? Yes, there is at least one motorcycle, its in the October trailer of the game. There also appears to be a regular pedaling bicycle in many screenshots.
Oh yeah, theres a remixed version of an older trailer, go to gametrailers.com and click on Driver 3 trailer 2. It shows off the motorcycle, in case you need to show your son proof, so he doesn't kill himself.

It's called the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe but i think the new models are muck, get a classic 1994/5 vintage. v.robust. Highly recommended by myself to the patrons of the fine store i used to work in. |

LOL. They haven't really said much about blood and gore. They're trying to keep it rated T, so no gore, but its possible there could be some blood, since Splinter Cell is rated T and has blood in it.
About the new name, unforunately, thats officially the new name for it, DRIV3R, ever since a few days ago. I know, its stupid, but I guess we'll just have to get used to it, its not effecting the gameplay any. I think it was Ataris decision though, not Reflections. I'm not sure though.

it seems as if playscope.com now as around 178 screens of D3... a very good current source for people interested.
If you are coming here to compare the grand theft auto series and ask pathetic questions about whether there will be hookers, then you might as well just keep playing those titles and forget about D3. A lot of people come here to find out good news sources and have played the Driver series from the start.... you idiots give us headaches. Matt_jon, I really like how much info you seem to find all the time. I am considering building a fansite to be launched at least a month before the game is out and I wanted to know if you would like to be involved. Reply to this and I will send you my email address. |

Sure, I can help you some on a fansite, but I'm loaded down with school work, I was gonna make one too, but I just had too much schoolwork, and I wanted to make my own graphics for it (it would've been like the menu screen from Driver 1 where you'd hold the mouse over one of the pictures and it'd be highlighted), but I never got that far on them, unfortunately, and I deleted the files after not working on the pages for a few months. Anyway, sure I'll help, I just might not be able to help much, except for info and new pics, trailers, etc. I only know basic html. matt__jon@hotmail.com if you want to email me.
I don't know if you'll be able to drive and shoot at the same time, I hope so, but I think the developers would say it doesn't really have to do with the Driver series. Well, to me it does, in car chase films they shoot back at the cops, so I hope they have it. They're trying to keep this game rated T, and so far thats what its gonna be. There is a gas station in a screenshot, with a car in it, but no ones pumping gas, so I really can't tell if we'll have to pump gas to keep the car running (probably not, since they've said before they won't have repair shops since you could simply steal a new car), but I'm hoping even if we have an infinite amount of gas we could still pump gas, just so I can set the gas station on fire. Well, I think you'll be able to target pedestrians, it makes sense if you can target a bad guy that you can also target a pedestrian, because it'd be stupid if you couldn't, and I hope, unlike the Getaway, that it will autotarget innocent people, instead of ony gansters and cops. The shooting is gonna be more like the Matrix instead of stealthy, you'll just walk into a room (with double MAC-10's if you want) and empty the clips and throw the gun away when you're done (I hope we can hold onto the gun for more ammo later, they said there will be no holstering the gun though). I'd expect you can get a gun in take a ride mode, it would add replayability, not many people want to play driving only games after GTA3 anymore.

I like GTA, but I wasn't even excited when VC was being released for some reason. I get really excited when theres a new trailer of this game though. I didn't even get VC until a few months after it came out, and it didn't live up to #3.
I like Driver 3 better, more like how it used to be with D2, but oh well, its too late to change it, we can always pretend its Driver 3 though. I don't really like THPS, its just not my kind of game, being limited to only a few things like riding a skateboard, and... uh, riding a skateboard, or a bike in whatever demo they have on whatever game it is, my brother likes THPS though, its his fav game |

I'll answer though - Where else have you seen car physics like this? I'm interested to see if you know of another game? Well GT3 has great physics. I've yet to see any movie footage of driver 3 also so I can't comment on the physics engine it has. I also never said not to have high expectations of the game. However someone who says that the game is cool has nothing to base that opinion on. It could be cool, it certainly looks like it will be a good game, but it has not yet reached a stage where it is finished and can be called a good game. |

Stuntman is where I've seen car physics like this. The good thing about the physics in this game, unlike GT3, is that you can actually flip your car! Also, the steering is made more sensitive than GT3, because that game sucks, and who wants steering like that anyway? It'll be like steering in past Driver games. About the sequels, most likely: yes, yes, and yes I'd guess it has a 90% chance of being T, because then the game can legally reach a wider audience than GTA, which is always good. And I don't think Reflections would ever go above a T, its just something they do. I don't know if you can climb trees, but I hope so. And fences, ladders, buildings or other things that are close together (press up against the walls with hands and feet and climb up). Most likely the pedaling bikes are driveable. It should be fun to hit people on them with a semi. No flying planes as of yet have been mentioned. And for those of you who liked the slow mo in The Matrix, theres a new thing in this game, they call the thrill cam, where you press two of the shoulder buttons and it slows down time and moves to an out of car camera, but you still have control of the car. The harder you press the buttons, the more it slows down. This should help in tense moments, or big crashes. They didn't say if it would work while on foot though, but I hope so. They did say it was like the bullet time in the Matrix, would could or could not also be referring to on foot action. I'd assume it'd still work on foot.

Why would anyone want to climb trees? Of course you're not going to be able to, thats just stupid.
You would only be able to enter buildings that have something to do with missions. Nothing more. The game would slow down far too much otherwise.
