The previous installation DQVII, was a kick ass game but with some set backs. I hated dragging my deceased party member's coffin everywhere, until you made it to the temple for Resurrection. The game is long same as the new one. Thank, god they won't have that in the new installation.
To be honest I did not complete the game, after reaching the electric Wall. Some other new game was in my hands and I just lost interest in DQVII.
I am sure I'll be picking this one up pretty soon.

Talk about picking it up soon was nothing but a passing dream. The bloody game sold out by the time I reached my favorite game shop. Instead I ended up buying Magna Carta: Tears of Blood.

I did get to play the demo version of DQ's VIII, from playing the demo I found nothing ground breaking, except that the graphics looks great. Well I'll write more when I get my paws on the actual Disc.

My real interest is the Demo FFXII which comes packaged with DQ's VIII

So no-one else slightly unsettled by the main character's mad stare?

    Looks very nice indeed
One thing though the guy in red looks very like Kratos from Tales of Symphonia.

Do these guys have a generic character generation tool or something?
