Shonky low-res characters? Simple styling is fine but this is far, FAR from polished looking.

Honestly, I'd prefer it if it was properly pixelated rather than the filtered sprites they're showing there. They look a bit tatty.

Disgaea is a strategy RPG where you play a demon named Laharl on his quest to claim his rightful title as Overlord of the Netherworld after the death of his father.

It plays as a series of strategic battles where Laharl and his team of Vassals and assorted created demons take turns to beat the opponents using your standard array of melee attacks, spells, guns, and gigantic flaming meteors as big as the playing field.

It's stock full of good humour, great voice acting, and deep RPG gameplay without the traditional JRPG trimmings.

125 hours on Disgeae 1. Best game of the last/ this generation for me. Looking forward to playing the one for equal amounts of time.
