    I don't think calling it a "false isometric 3D one" sounds particularly generous, but no, afaik it's not a real 3D one.

    This looks very very nice - but movements of large numbers of troops through towns and villages is going to be awkward. Even moving artillery units around my densely-packed settlement proved a problem.

    The graphics suck. The reflection of the ship in front of the lighthouse shows a sail, although the ship itself hasn't hoisted any sails.

    One of the reasons battles took place outside of urban areas, but I still know what you mean. We'll have to hope the landscapes are huge.
