Indeed - hopefully good enough so that I can get rid of okay-but-not-great Cricket 2004.

Wonder what the batsmen's head in the bottom right is supposed to be. Hmm.

what the hang has happened to code masters? Brian Laras on the ps1 was brilliant, but I hope this looks a lot better when its moving. What the heck have the managed to do to the human body? It looks almost as surreal as it did in club football. The shading technique on the clothes looks like the sort of thing I would have done when I first realised you could do shading with a 3b pencil.

Granted though, it does look better than c2004.

Took me quite a while, it's very hard to type wrongly on purpose when you can touch type!

    I just thought I'd pre-empt the inevitable. :-D

Where can I get an easy-to-understand introduction to cricket on the web?

Where can I get an easy-to-understand introduction to cricket on the web?

Arguably there's no such thing. However The laws of cricket will give you a very detailed introduction.

    Alternatively:

You have two sides: one out in the field and one in.

Each man that's in the side that's in goes out and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.

Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When both sides have been in and out including the not outs, the game ends.

Ever tried explaining the LBW law to your girlfriend / wife ? Take my advice - don't, it might as well be nuclear physics.

Been gagging for some cricketing goodness since the EA crap started coming out.

Ended up buying the original BLC three times -- once to start with, then had that nicked, so got another, then sold it when I got the EA version, discovered that was shite, so went back to BLC (but this time the PC version).

I want full career stats, with centuries/wickets and best scores/returns for each player, including non-player countries. BLC did this a little, but didn't have full stats. EA just had a series-long table, but at least it had all the information.

    Just my 2.0f cents. :-)
