Not sure I'd go that far...on an x800 system at 1600x1200 with 4x AA I'd argue its better. Especially with the lack of bloom.

Then again, console price = less than the console itself ;)

It looks nice, never really seen what BF2 was like on the PC mainly cause my most awesome computer can't handle it supposedly lol, anyway it looks nice

Is this gonna be the same as the Xbox version? Will we be able to play side-by-side with 360 owners on live? Or will they be kept seperate?

Looks worse than the PC version to me. Anyway, will the xbox 360 run it with those graphics AND 64 players on a huge map ?

i'm pretty sure this ISN'T the same battlefield 2 as on the PC, it just takes its name. if it is the game i'm thinking of (which was released a while ago on xbox) then the main gameplay is to be found in singleplayer.

How many players per game?!? (online)

I play BF2 rather a lot, anything less than 32 players aint worth it, if the 360 cannot manage 64 player games then I suspect it wont be worht getting

Its 32 players IIRC. Which I'm happy with. Absolutely hate more players than that, just becomes a lag fest and more akin to Quake than something with tactics.

Bear in mind that 32 players is quite impressive seeing as how the game doesnt use dedicated servers, the 360 someone is playing on is doing all the work. Try running a BF2 server on the PC you're using and see how it fares.

The maps are all balanced for 24 players, which plays just fine in the current gen. version.
