I recently finished work on a game under this license. We worked so hard to keep to the license and really got into it. All of us watched the whole first series, came up with loads of great ideas and were really inspired, and although we didn't manage to implement all of them, our game was fun and didn't abuse the license in any way.

Maybe this developer has had the same problem with respect to time scales, because the gameplay movies I have seen of this really suck, and they haven't kept to the license in a fairly big fashion. Aang hits people with his staff all the time, and if you've seen the cartoon at all you'll know that's well out of character.

I say that even given a strict time/budget it is still possible to create a game design that is a little more original and makes better use of the license than "run along a corridor, twat some blokes with a stick, rinse repeat". The Avatar license is so rich and full of awesome cool gameplay opportunities that it makes my fucking blood boil to see it used in this fashion.

    I am disgusted.
