It's just the imitating is so blatant. Sony are doing what they've always done, pitched themselves as the 'adult', more mature alternative to Nintendo. Which is fine, it's worked for them in the past, maybe it'll work for them this time.

It is very, very Wii Sports Resort but having seen some of the vids I'm more impressed. The Table Tennis was a lot more precise and flexible. The fighting one was more of a proper beat-em up compared to fencing too. There is a danger that they go too far and make them less accessible to the casual gamer - but there looks to be more to these for the hardcore than Nintendo's similar offerings.
