Quiet week.

Extra songs for Guitar Hero and Rock Band are all the PlayStation Store has to offer this week.

All but a free livery for MotorStorm, that is.

Luckily, comedy rock group Spinal Tap is one of the bands lending a voice to Rock Band. Tap songs "Back from the Dead", "Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare", "Saucy Jack" and "Warmer Than Hell" are up for grabs. It's a fiver for the pack, bizarrely, even though each track costs a quid.

Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life", "Call Me When You're Sober" and "Weight of the World" are the other offerings. They're a quid each or GBP 2.50 for the lot.

You can also grab an Assassin's Creed 2 wallpaper and bunch of videos if that's how you roll.

Hopefully they update the Rock Band Unplugged library often enough. I heard not weekly, but how often? Every other week? Monthly?

I thought ALL releases were going to be available as downloads from quite a while back? So far this simply isn't happening. Annoying, with the PSPGO looming, why would I buy UMDs?

At E3 Sony said that all future PSP games whould be available digitally (as well as on UMD) when the PSP Go goes on sale.

So no Ghostbusters or V8 Superstars demo, I may have bought both if the demo's impressed, now they'll be on the back burner with Fight Night Round 4 due next week.

Bah, even the Spinal Tap choices arn't the best.
I would have loved to have seen all those casual players rocking out to "sex farm" and "fat bottom".
