Spielberg Wii game coming in May
Boom Blox. Contains mini-games.
The codenamed "PQRS" Wii puzzle title Steven Spielberg has been helping EA with has been officially unveiled. They've been planning this for a million years. We're beat to sh*t.
It's called Boom Blox, will be available in May, and is unsurprisingly made up of child friendly mini-games where you solve puzzles by using the Wiimote in quirky ways.
There are block-laying chickens and baseball-throwing monkeys to play around with, in a choice of Tiki, Medieval, Frontier and Haunted environments. Anne Lively, where is Anne Lively?
You can play it alone, co-operatively, or against your children if you want to win. You can even as make your own conundrums in Create Mode and share them over the WiiConnect24 Channel.
"I am a gamer myself, and I really wanted to create a video game that I could play with my kids," said Steven Spielberg riding a velociraptor. "Boom Blox features an enormous amount of fun challenges and cool scenarios for your kids to solve or for you to master together."
Let's hope his action-adventure game for 360 and PS3 proves a little more exciting, as this sounds about as good as A.I. with that little robot boy who had girls' hair.

No other designer in the whole of the games industry could possibly have come up with these ideas. Thanks Steven Spielberg!
Are you sure it's not called Steven Spielbergs Boom Blox?

Oooh, Crystal Maze Wii game ahoy! Actually, thats not a bad idea.
I would imagine Richard O'Brien would be pretty cheap to hire, too...

Good on you Bertie, I agree. Smash the system, fight the power.

Like lots of low metacritic Wii games, and some high metacritic ones too admittedly, kids play these games and parents buy them, and it would appear to have very little to do with the demographic represented here.
Still, we're all just expressing an opinion
