Special edition Gears 2, Fable II coming

Get each game plus DLC for under 40 quid.

Microsoft is releasing special editions of two hit Xbox 360 exclusives.

First up is Gears of War 2: Game of the Year Edition. It will come complete with the All Fronts Collection game add-on, which includes 19 multiplayer maps. You also get the Road to Ruin campaign chapter.

There are also plans to release GOTY version of Fable II. Knothole Island and the See the Future add-ons are bundled into this one.

Both new editions will be released in Europe on 18th September, carrying an RRP of €64.99/£39.99.

    GoW2 already was good value without the All Fronts pack :-)
    I did download All Fronts myself. Some of the Dark Corners maps are excellent.

    GOW2's a fantastic games and everything, but you can pick up it up for £15 new and just download All Fronts instead.

    also quite tempted by the Gears one, never got it the first time round despite enjoying the first one, i think it was mainly due to the overwhelming number of games released in that period last year...

    fuck when i heard about these the other day(well,i already have Fable 2,so not bothered about that) i thought they were gonna be in the classics range(like mass effect did)...think i will hang on for the Gears 2 GOTY to go down in price

    i dont wanna buy GoW2 and download the dark corners thing for 1600 points when its only the single player content i want...but £40,yeah i'll wait a bit,see if it goes down

    Yeah, it's terrible how the RRPs that were set for games about 4-5 years ago are so unfair when you look at the exchange rate we currently have.

    Or, as Dizzy said, like a sensible person you can order it from the UK and the fact that Sterling is in the toilet compared to the Euro becomes a very good thing (for those of us in the Eurozone).

    Or would you rather continue complaining that your glass is half-empty?
