Sony lists internal wand launch projects
Echochrome 2! Ape Escape! Bowling.
As well as promising Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut and LittleBigPlanet support for the PS3's wand motion controller, Sony today revealed a list of launch games being developed internally to make use of it.
They are: Ape Escape, Echochrome 2, Eccentric Slider, Sling and Draw, Champions of Time, Motion Party, The Shoot, Tower, PAIN, Flower, Hustle Kings, High Velocity Bowling and EyePet. Some of those are on the market already of course, suggesting we'll see patches via PSN, and some of the others sound like extensions of technical demos showcased at E3.
The motion controller is due out in spring 2010 and features two motion sensors, a three-axes gyroscope, three-axes accelerometer, a rechargeable battery and Bluetooth connection to the PS3, and a bit of rumble. It requires the PlayStation Eye camera to play, as it works in conjunction with the big-headed little peripheral.

Hopefully when we've got more info it might putaside my fears. But PAIN, Bowling, Flower are all well and good, but it's fairly similar to the wii's mini games.
LBP and ape escape are the ones that most interst me. I wonder if any of the demos the showed at E3 will turn into full games. Quite liked the idea of commanding a toy army.

Yes, because dear god, everyone knows that it becomes impossible to actually hold a physical object when a camera is pointed at you.

I like the wii controller, but got totally bored of the Nintendo type games and the thing that really swung it was the lack of high quality graphics. I brought it originally because of the controller, I knew the graphics werent as strong and in the beginning it didnt matter, but over time i thought I am missing out on high quality AAA games - both from style and visuals. For me I cant say that the nintendo games are my cup of tea, perhaps its their style or age range i dont know. The kids still love playing it.
@Donnie, you do know the only people generally making money out of the Wii is Nintendo, most 3rd Parties dont. This does not bode well for the long term of the console. It can sell a gazzillion consoles but if the only people making games are those that can do it cheaply and Nintendo, then many people are going to be disappointed. This might be even more costly for developers if/when Wii goes HD.. if its easy to develop a game from the Xbox and PS3, then it will be fine the cost wont be an issue, but I dont see developers rushing to make a AAA high quality HD game for the Wii alone. Also who is going to buy a Wii 2, yes the nintendo hardcore, but not all these people that went out and purchase it for Wii fit alone etc.
As for the Wands, I'm not convinced by it yet, and the list of games that it supports is not Anything amazing. The camera, well that will be in more homes when Eye Pet comes out, so the cost will be reduced over time for people (they wont have to buy in one go). I also dont like the idea of holding a sixaxis in one hand a wand in another, but we shall see what happens as its not out yet.

" sign of a secret blood oath involving a serrated DualShock "
See, in Spring, it suggests split the dual shock in half, use the analogue left bit with the wand.
HD graphics, higher accuracy pointer, wii style point and shoot - Maybe we will get a proper star wars light saber one day...

@ dredd97 - I am guessing that '97 was your year of birth and that you are only 12yrs old, as such a silly comment couldn't have come from anyone with any maturity or knowledge of the topic.
edit: typo.
