Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida agrees, unsurprisingly. He reckons this will be "the year of big exclusive PS3 titles", citing EyePet and MAG as examples.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......... Shuhei ought to KNOW what 'big exclusive PS3 titles' are (after all, the dev team behind one of them embarrassed him royally last year) and Eyepet & MAG aren't anywhere close. |

Ah I see, so when Sony said '2008 is the year of the PS3' they actually meant 2009. So when they say 2009 they mean 2010?
Please Sony, for the love of cheese, just speak the truth. I think you'll find if you stop lying constantly to your target audience you might shed some of your enormous burden of shame and maybe, just maybe, gain a tiny little bit of respect from the gaming community. But theres the much rumoured PS3 price-cut around March.
It has to go below £199 to reach the sweet spot for the mass-market regardless of how many features it has. |

i think a price cut is imperative this year, whether through an internal redesign or a complete make over. i see making money as their priority but i believe they are working on making a price war happen this year. if it doesn't happen i'll be surprised because it'll be indicative of their current ambitions.

I've also been playing those titles. I've not been enjoying them though because I just didnt think they were good games. There ARE games I like on the PS3, just not enough for me to justify a purchase. vorlon, so definitely this year. lets discuss when then. i reckon in the lead up to christmas, but rumours persist it'll be march.
widge, i don't think the two consoles are so similar that owning both wouldn't hold some advantages if you were that way inclined. 360 certainly caters to a more hardcore palette. |

Believe what you like, it has no effect on anything. What DOES have a real-world effect is people who see through the vaporware, 'social networking applications' and semi-interactive movies that Sony throw at the gaming masses and choose to purchase a console with a decent games library. That's the 360, in case you were wondering. The console that's outselling the PS3 and widening the gap. The console with the good games on it. |

Happens to be one of the highest rated games this gen, of any platform. purchase a console with a decent games library. Both 360 and PS3 have a decent games library. Do we need a list wars? |

There's a very good reason I dont like the PS3 though. It doesnt have very good games compared to the more affordable, better connected console with the larger, more diverse games catalogue. That's simple pragmatism. When the PS3 gets a decent exclusive games catalogue and matches the 360 for value then I'll buy one, but frankly all there has been on the PS3 is abyssal first-party exclusives, 2nd-rate 360 game knockoffs, games which arent really games (yes Home and MGS, I'm watching - not playing - you) and a whole bunch of substandard ports. "It's yes, it's not a beleif, it's a fact." Carry on believeing, it's heartwarming. Kinda like the kid in a wheelchair who closes his eyes and imagines he can soar with the eagles... |

It's good that I don't need, or indeed give a shit about, your or anyone else's belief when I go to a store and fork out for electronics. I'll buy one when they are value for money with enough exclusive games I like. The count so far is 3 and no, I'm not listing them. Lists are for Apologie and other assorted retards. |
